Birmingham police are investigating a smash-and-grab burglary early Wednesday, January 20, at a Shell gas station in the 3300 block of Woodward. Officers responding about 3 a.m. to an alarm at the Shell gas station, 33600 Woodward, arrived to find someone had broken out the front glass door and made entry into the building. Liquor, cigars and two cash register drawers were taken. Birmingham police are investigating.
Bloomfield Township police are looking for a pair of men who stole nearly $800 in clothing from a sporting good store on Telegraph Road. Officers responded about 9:15 p.m. on Monday, January 18, when a manager said two black males entered DICK’s Sporting Goods, 2105 Telegraph, in Bloomfield Township, earlier that day and took four Nike windbreaker jackets.
