Yard equipment, tools stolen from garage

Yard equipment and tools were stolen sometime on Monday, November 13, or Tuesday, November 14, from a garage in the 500 block of Whitney Drive in Rochester Hills, a resident told authorities.

The victim told Oakland County deputies the items were in the garage at 583 Whitney Drive when an unknown person stole them. It wasn't known if the garage was left open at the time of the theft. Deputies said there were no indications of forced entry into the structure.

The stolen items include a leaf blower, power washer, drill and battery from a riding lawn mower. The victim said the riding mower was moved to an area behind the home. The items were valued at $1,238.
