Drunk husband arrested for hitting wife in face

An intoxicated Bloomfield Township man admitted to hitting his wife in the face during an argument around 9:23 p.m. Monday, December 11, after she called 911.
Bloomfield Township police were called to 1100 block of Ashover Drive after the victim called 911 and reported that her husband had hit her in the face. Officers who arrived at the home spoke with Eugene Negrych, 30, and his wife. They determined that Negrych was intoxicated, and he admitted hitting his wife during an argument.
Negrych was arrested for domestic assault and transported to the Bloomfield Township police station, where he was lodged for the night.
On Tuesday, December 12, he was arraigned at 48th District Court before Judge Diane D’Agostini and assigned a $10,000 bond. Negrych’s next court date is Wednesday, January 3, at 48th District Court before Judge Kimberly Small.
