Items stolen from unlocked parked cars

Birmingham residents reported to police that their unlocked cars , parked outside their homes on Lakeside and Willow Lane, had been broken into around 4 a.m. Monday, February 12.

The residents, who live in the 1000 block of Lakeside and 1200 block of Willow Lane, reported that various items had been stolen from their vehicles.

Birmingham police were able to locate the suspect, a 22-year-old man from Hamtramck, who was in possession of the stolen items, as well as marijuana.

He was arrested for larceny from auto, marijuana possession and a felony arrest warrant.
