Construction wire stolen from Lowe's

A man walked in to the Bloomfield Township Lowe's store on Wednesday, February 28, and left with almost $1,000 worth of construction wire he didn't pay for.

Around 2:30 p.m., store personnel reported to Bloomfield Township police that a white male entered the store, located at 1801 Telegraph Road, empty-handed, and selected several bundles of construction wired valued at approximately $928. He placed them in a shopping cart, and pushed the cart out of the store without paying for anything.

He was last seen leaving the store in a light colored sedan.

Bloomfield Township police are investigating.
