Women steal $400 worth of shoes

April 27, 2018

Two women tore the tags off $400 worth of shoes at the Bloomfield Township TJ Maxx store, concealed them and walked out without paying for them on Saturday, April 21.

Loss prevention officers at TJ Maxx, 2139 Telegraph Road, observed the two women tampering with security tags on several pairs of shoes. The women then removed the tags, concealed the shoes, and left the store without paying for them.

The two women fled the scene when they were confronted by the loss prevention officers.

The reported value of the shoes was $400.

Bloomfield Township police are investigating.
