Money taken from woman at three branches

A text message alert from her bank notified a Bloomfield Township woman that someone had stolen $13,500 from her bank account at three different branches. On Saturday, May 5, a Bloomfield Township resident reported to Bloomfield Township police that she received a text message alert from her bank that she had a low balance. After doing an investigation, she discovered that a total of $13,500 had been fraudulently withdrawn from her account at three different bank branches. Bank surveillance cameras captured a man at a teller window completing a transaction. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
