Woman steals necklaces from drug store

June 1, 2018

A woman is wanted in connection with a theft of jewelry from a Bloomfield Township Rite Aid store on Wednesday, May 23.

Employees at the Rite Aid store, located at 42931 Woodward Avenue at Square Lake Road, told Bloomfield Township police officers they witnessed a woman remove the tags off of several necklaces and then leave the store without paying.

The suspect, who is also wanted for questioning in other similar retail fraud complaints at other Rite Aids, was described as a white female, between 25 and 30 years of age, 130 pounds, wearing blue stretch pants and a blue jean jacket, with tattoos on both hands.
