Couple tag team to steal cameras from Target

A man moved two Nest cameras to the toy department at the Bloomfield Township Target store, and then a woman came and put them in her purse and left with them on Monday, June 4.

A loss prevention manager at the Target store at 2400 Telegraph Road, just north of Square Lake Road, contacted Bloomfield Township police for a retail fraud complaint. The manager stated that a white male took two Nest cameras from the electronics department and placed them in the toy department. He then left the store without purchasing anything.

Shortly afterwards, a white female entered the store, went into the toy department and placed both Nest cameras in her purse. She then left the store without purchasing anything.

The loss prevention manager said the total value of the cameras is $500.

Bloomfield Township police are investigating and looking for the two suspects.
