Construction truck stolen in Birmingham

A construction worker employed on the downtown Birmingham road construction project got a rude awaking on the morning of Thursday, June 7, when he arrived for work and discovered his red Ford F-250 had been stolen from Maple and Old Woodward.

The construction worker told Birmingham police he had parked the Ford truck in the gravel lot on the southeast corner of Maple and Old Woodward on the evening of Wednesday, June 6, and when he returned the following morning at 7 a.m., it was gone.

Birmingham police reported there are no suspects or witnesses.
