Argument leads to physical assault, arrest

A Bloomfield Township man was arrested for physically assaulting his wife after they got into an argument on Wednesday, July 18. Bloomfield Township police responded just before midnight to the 4100 block of Telegraph for a report on a domestic dispute. The victim told officers that her husband had assaulted her physically following a verbal argument. Officers arrested Byron Lee Greer, 32, of Bloomfield Township. Greer was arraigned before Magistrate Andra Richardson at 48th District Court and given a $100,000 cash/surety bond.
