Vacationers discover home is broken into

Birmingham residents returned home on Monday, August 6, to discover their garage door was open and numerous items had been stolen while they were gone.

The residents, who live in the 500 block of Lake Park, returned from a vacation and found that their garage door was open. When they went inside, they discovered several items had been stolen from the home.

Birmingham detectives are questioning a suspect who had access to the home while the family was gone.
