Specialized mountain bike stolen

A man reported his specialized 16-inch mountain bike was stolen from a rack by the Maple entrance of the Kroger at Woodward and Maple on Sunday, August 5.

The man told Birmingham police he had locked the bike by the Maple entrance of the Kroger located at 700 E. Maple Road, but when he came out, not only was the silver and black Specialized 16-inch mountain bike gone, but so was the lock and chain.

Birmingham police said there are no suspects or witnesses. They are investigating.
