Laptop, cash stolen from car during night

A Bloomfield Township resident had her Apple laptop, cash and gift cards stolen from her unlocked vehicle during the night on Friday, August 17, and video surveillance spotted a man taking items during the night. Bloomfield Township officers responded to the 2000 block of Dell Rose Drive, where a woman stated her belongings had been stolen during the night from her car, which had been left unlocked. Home video surveillance showed a white male, in his early 20s, wearing a T-shirt and shorts, opening the rear passenger door of the car at 4:50 a.m. and taking several items from the car. The suspect was then seen riding away from the scene on a bike. The Bloomfield Township Police Department is investigating.
