Man arrested for stealing wallet at Moosejaw

A Pontiac man was arrested after he stole a wallet from a back stock room on Friday, August 31, from Moosejaw in Birmingham.

Birmingham police officers were dispatched to Moosejaw, 34300 Woodward Avenue, on reports of a theft of a wallet from a stock room. Employees at the outdoor store said they saw a man go in and out of the stock room at the back of the store, and then leave the store.

Officers later located the man, a 56 year old from Pontiac, who had the stolen wallet in his possession. He was arrested and a warrant is pending from the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office.
