Package stolen after delivery to residence

A cellphone sent through the postal service to a Rochester resident in the 100 block of Campbell Street was apparently stolen after being delivered, the victim told police.

Rochester police said the victim on Saturday, September 8, told officers a package containing a cellphone valued at $700 was supposedly sent to their residence, but they never received it. The postal service reported to the victim that the package had been delivered, but was never received by the victim.

The case is being investigated by the Rochester Police Department's Detective Bureau.
