Packages stolen after confirmed delivery

A Bloomfield Township woman reported that two packages from Amazon were stolen from her house on Wednesday, September 5, and Thursday, September 6.

The resident, who lives in the 2000 block of Aspen Lane, reported to Bloomfield Township police that she had ordered items from Amazon.com, and was told they were delivered on Wednesday, September 5, and Thursday, September 6, on time, and that the delivery service had left the packages near the garage door.

The resident told officers that she had never seen either package when she arrived home after work.

Bloomfield Township police are investigating.
