Township Open House on Sunday, October 14

Bloomfield Township will hold an Open House on its campus on Sunday, October 14, from noon to 4 p.m., with fun and free activities for the whole family.

Learn all about Bloomfield Township's public safety departments – the police and fire departments – at the open house. There will be fun for all ages, with demonstrations by the fire department, rides in police cars, snow plow rides, K-9 demonstrations, and a whole range of activities for kids and adults, including pumpkin crafts, a photo booth, animal adoptions, voter registration, tours of Bloomfield Hills High School and a petting zoo.

Learn how to build a doghouse for your own dog, and participate in a tree raffle.

Hungry? There will be free cider and doughnuts, hot dogs, pizza, tacos, popcorn and pumpkin pie.
