Resident discovers debit card cloned
Bloomfield Township police are seeking information on a suspect who may have cloned a township resident's debit card and used it for unauthorized cash advances.
On September 23, Bloomfield Township police responded to a fraud complaint at a home in the 3000 block of Burning Bush Road. The resident told them that she was reviewing her bank statement, and noticed her debit card had been used for several unauthorized cash advances in the area.
She said she believes her debit card had been cloned, because she still had it in her possession.
Bloomfield Township detectives obtained a photo of the male they believe was using her cloned card to purchase a candy bar and received $750 cash back.
