Applicants for planning panel have until Nov. 7

Rochester residents interested in applying to serve on the city's planning commission have until Wednesday, November 7, to submit an application.

The city is accepting applications to fill a position on the board following the departure of former planning commission chair Jon Kingsepp earlier this year.

Anyone wishing to serve on the board must have an application submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7. The planning commission meets on the first Monday of every month at 7 p.m., with additional meetings scheduled as needed.

Instructions for application submissions can be found on the boards and commission application available at city hall or online at the city's website.

Applications will be considered at the regularly scheduled city council meetings to be held on Monday, November 12, and Monday, November 26.
