Hockey shop opening

Sports enthusiasts will enjoy a new store to find their gear, with the opening of Perani’s Hockey World. The new store, located at 2067 S. Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township, features all kinds of ice hockey gear, from skates to gloves, along with lacrosse equipment, for players in youth to adult leagues. Perani’s Hockey World was started in 1976 in Flint by Bob Perani, a local pro hockey player and fan favorite who played for a number of years as a goalie with the Flint Generals. Over the past 30 years, the company has grown to include 22 retail stores in North America, with a companion web and catalog company.
