Purse stolen from car, cards used

A Bloomfield Township woman who left her vehicle unlocked during the overnight hours of Sunday, October 28, discovered someone had stolen her purse and made unauthorized purchases using her debit card.

The resident, who lives in the 1900 block of Klingensmith Road, reported to Bloomfield Township police that sometime during the overnight hours, someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stolen her purse.

The resident checked her online banking account, and noticed several unauthorized purchases had been made on her account. Police said surveillance footage is being reviewed.

The case is currently under investigation.
