Shop for the holidays at BBAC Holiday Shop

The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center (BBAC) will host its Holiday Shop – an annual pop-up shopping experience now in its 38th year, where the more than 3,500 square feet of gallery space is transformed into a unique boutique offering one-of-a-kind gift items created by more than 125 artists.

The BBAC Holiday Shop runs from Thursday, November 29, through Thursday, December 20, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.

The night before, Wednesday, November 28, the Holiday Shop kicks off with the 17th Annual Shop & Champagne event, a ticketed sneak peek event which includes shopping, a gourmet strolling supper, wine, champagne and cordials, complimentary valet parking and a 10-percent discount on all Holiday Shop purchases made that evening takes place at the BBAC. Shop & Champagne tickets are on sale now – $85 per person in advance and $100 per person at the door. To purchase, visit BBArtCenter.org or call 248.644.0866.

The BBAC Holiday Shop offers a variety of hand-made artisan pieces including ceramics, jewelry, home décor, greeting cards, stationery, glassware, paintings, candles, soaps, kitchenware and more. The Holiday Shop also offers assorted Judaica and an ornament gallery.

Holiday Shop proceeds benefit working artists and the non-profit BBAC’s ArtAccess and education programs.
