Hamlin Road, Rochester Hills. Billed as “America’s Bodyshop,” Maaco locations have serviced more than 20 million cars since being founded in 1972. From color changes to insurance claims, the company handles all insurance and guarantees work with a nationwide warranty. The business took off in the late 1970s and early 80s, with the slogan “uh-oh, better get Maaco,” There are now more than 500 independently owned and operated franchises across the United States and Canada.
