Man who stole from At Home employees sought

Bloomfield Township police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man wanted in connection with several thefts from employees of a township home store on Friday, January 4, in the 2100 block of Telegraph Road.

Police said officers responded to the report of a theft at At Home, 2101 Telegraph Road, where an employee discovered an unknown man in the employee break room. When questioned, the man told the employee he was looking for the restroom.

Several employees later discovered personal items were missing and reported it to management.

Investigators obtained surveillance photos of the man and are asking for the public's help in identifying the subject.

The man is described as a black male, standing about 6-feet, 2-inches tall to 6-feet, 5-inches tall, with short hair and a thin beard. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket and dark pants.

Police ask anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
