Bloomfield Winter Park event postponed

While winter recently has arrived, the lack of snow and above-average temperatures have forced organizers of the Bloomfield Winter Park event to postpone its event from Saturday, January 12 through Sunday, February 3, to Saturday, January 19 through Sunday, February 10.

The event, sponsored by Bloomfield Hills Schools, is held at Bowers Schools Farm on Square Lake Road from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is $5, with children under 2 free.

There are lots of winter activities planed, including sledding, ice skating, winter nature day at the E. L. Johnson Nature Center, as well as warm and cozy indoor activities like bingo, trivia night, a story time for children with special guests from the Bloomfield Township police and fire departments, and a presentation of “The Little Mermaid” by the Bloomfield Players.
