Beauty shop thieves caught on store video

Police are seeking information about three people who were captured on video surveillance on Saturday, April 27, stealing several thousand dollars in make-up and beauty supplies from a beauty supply store in Bloomfield Township.

Township police said officers responded about 4:30 p.m. to Ulta Beauty, 2161 Telegraph Road, for the complaint of retail fraud. Officers said the general manager said at least 125 items valued at $6,373 were missing.

Police said a review of the video surveillance cameras that day showed two women concealing several items in their clothing. Moments later, a male also was seen concealing items in his coat pockets.

The case is under investigation.

Police ask anyone with information about the thefts or who is able to help identify the individuals responsible to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
