Friends of Library holds Second Saturday sale

The Friends of the Bloomfield Township Public Library will hold a Second Saturday Sale on Saturday, May 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The sale provides patrons an opportunity to purchase gently used books at a bargain price while providing a fundraising opportunity for the organization. This month's sale specials include a large assortment of cookbooks, as well as several history and genealogy collections. Last minute specials also are advertised on the Friends' Facebook page at “friendsBTPL.”

The first hour of the sale is open to Friends members only, with the remainder open to the general public. Memberships are available at the door the day of the sale.

Friends of the Library offers gift certificates, and the non-profit accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover credit and debit cards with a $15 minimum purchase. All purchases at this month's sale of $5 or more come with a complimentary book from the Free Book Cart, with a maximum of three books.

For more information, contact the Library at 248.642.5800 or visit the library online at btpl.org.
