Ex-girlfriend arrested in township break-in

May 10, 2019

A Commerce Township woman was arrested on Sunday, May 5, in connection with an attempted break-in at her ex-boyfriend's home in Bloomfield Township, police said.

Bloomfield Township police responded at about 11:30 p.m. to the 1800 block of Ward Road for a complaint of malicious destruction of property. The homeowner told police his roommate's ex-girlfriend was trying to get into the home uninvited.

Officers at the scene found a broken window at the lower level of the home and used a K-9 unit to track the suspect.

Angela Oryszczak, 42, of Commerce Township, was arrested in connection with the alleged incident. She was arraigned in 48th District Court before Judge Kimberly Small. Bond was set at $5,000 cash/surety.

She is scheduled to appear on Wednesday, May 22, at 48th District Court before Judge Marc Barron.
