Bicycle stolen from downtown Birmingham

An unattended mountain bike was stolen on Saturday, May 11, after being left outside a downtown Birmingham restaurant in the 100 block of N. Old Woodward, police said. Police said a Birmingham resident was at Panera Bread, 100 N. Old Woodward, about 7 p.m. when he left his red 19-inch Trek mountain bike outside against a tree. He discovered the bike was missing a short time later when leaving the restaurant. Birmingham police said case is under investigation.
