Alex and Ani, which designs and creates bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings that “adorn the body, enlighten the mind, and empower the spirit,” according to its website, closed its doors in downtown Birmingham, 150 W. Maple Road, on Friday, May 10, after recently opening a larger store at Somerset Collection.
