Rude, unfair comments

I was reading the May 2019 Downtown Publication’s Oakland Confidential section today. You weren’t joking when you described the section as “gossip/news.” I’d lean more toward the gossip description.

Your comments about John James were incredibly presumptuous, rude and unfair. To say that his “greatest accomplishment is his parents’ handing him a job in their company” demonstrates that you don’t know him, didn’t do your research, or are just simply a left wing bigot.

Or perhaps your publication just needs better editors. Either way, you’ve lost me as a reader.
