Pedestrian injured in vehicle accident at Costco


A pedestrian suffered injuries to his hand and arm on Saturday, May 11, outside of a Bloomfield Township Costco store when a driver lost control of his vehicle while backing up, police said. Bloomfield Township police said an elderly male driver was backing up his vehicle near the entrance to the store when he lost control of his sport utility vehicle and struck a pedestrian. The man also crashed into the vestibule of the building before coming to a stop. The pedestrian is expected to make a full recovery.
