Argument leads to assault at local restaurant

Birmingham police were dispatched to Birmingham's 220 restaurant around midnight Friday, June 7, regarding an assault that had just taken place.

When officers arrived they learned a 42-year-old man from West Bloomfield had verbally argued with another man in the restaurant, and then proceeded to slap him in the back of the head/neck area.

Police arrested the man for assault and battery and disorderly person.
