Police recover stolen car taken from dealer

Bloomfield Township police on Monday, June 24, said a car stolen from a local auto dealership had been recovered from a residence in Dearborn.

The vehicle, a 2019 Honda Accord, was stolen on Saturday, June 15, from Page Honda, 1819 Telegraph Road. Police said a salesperson at the dealership told officers that a female customer came into the dealership and asked to test drive the vehicle.

The dealership called police after the woman failed to return.

The car was located on June 17, while parked at a residence in Dearborn. The driver was identified and a warrant was requested by police to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office for review.
