Oakland Hills employees victims of theft

Police are investigating the theft of items from two vehicles on Saturday, August 31, that were parked in the employee parking lot at Oakland Hills Country Club, 3951 W. Maple, in Bloomfield Township.

Police responding about 7 p.m. to a complaint about a pair of vehicle break-ins at the club spoke with two employees who said the driver's side window of their vehicles were smashed out and several items were missing.

Police said the victims were missing money, vehicle registration and insurance documents.

The case is under investigation. Police said investigators are reviewing video footage from the incident.

Police ask anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
