Police investigate smash-and-grab at pharmacy

Bloomfield Township police are investigating a smash-and-grab burglary that occurred on the evening of Saturday, November 2, at a pharmacy in the 43000 block of Woodward Avenue. Officers responded to a burglary alarm about 10:47 p.m. at Healthline RX Pharmacy, 43700 Woodward Avenue, Bloomfield Township. Prior to their arrival, the pharmacy owner notified the department that the glass entry doors to the pharmacy had been smashed. Video surveillance footage shows the burglars taking items from shelves and a refrigerator. Detectives are reviewing security footage. The case is under investigation. Police ask anyone with information about the incident to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
