Patrons inside Hunter House, 35100 Woodward Avenue, Birmingham, about 11 p.m. on Friday, January 3, may have been caught up in a fracas when a 35-year-old Bloomfield Hills man allegedly began antagonizing a group of friends at the diner. Police said witnesses told officers the man gave the group the middle finger and started punching people before trying to drive away. Police stopped the man. The man was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery and disorderly conduct.
