Credit maxed in phony credit account

Two men entered a major retailer in the 1800 block of Bloomfield Township on Wednesday, January 22, where they fraudulently opened a credit account in the name of a Bloomfield Township resident, and then maxed out the available credit of $10,000. Two men, identified on surveillance cameras as middle age African American males, entered Lowe's, 1801 Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Township, and opened a credit account in the name of an elderly Bloomfield Township resident. The suspects immediately made purchases, which maxed out all of the available credit of over $10,000. They then took off from the store. The Bloomfield Township Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in identifying the two suspects. If you recognize either person, contact them at 248.433.7755.
