Rude customer punches Triple Nickel employee

A rude and drunk customer at he Triple Nickel restaurant in Birmingham was asked to leave on Sunday, February 2, and he took revenge by punching an employee in the face. Birmingham police were called to the restaurant, 600 S. Old Woodward, after the assault took place. Employees said a man, who had been dining there, was drunk and rude to staff before being asked to leave, which he refused. He then charged at an employee and punched him in the face before fleeing the scene. The suspect was described as an approximately 6-foot tall white male, with a medium build and a short, "scruffy" beard, in his late 20's. Birmingham police are investigating.
