Vagrant makes home of empty house

The owner of a vacant home listed for sale in the 900 block of Forest, Birmingham, contacted police about suspicion that someone was entering the home. Birmingham police officers checked the home on Friday, February 14, after being give access information and asked to check the home overnight. When they did check, officers found it had been illegally entered by a 54-year-old resident of Ferndale. The subject was arrested and charged with unlawful entry.
