ATV stolen from Bloomfield dealership

A Polaris RZR ATV was stolen from Motor City Power Sports in Bloomfield Township on Saturday, May 16, and was then found hidden behind a dumpster at a neighboring business, according to Bloomfield Township police. Around 5 p.m., Bloomfield Township police received a report that someone had stolen the all-terrain vehicle from the sports vehicle dealership located at 1645 Telegraph Road. The general manager had received a call from the dealership's owner that one of their Polaris RZR ATVs, which retail for $25,000 and up, had been stolen from their storage yard. It had later been discovered behind a dumpster of a neighboring business. The manager told officers the ATV sustained several hundred dollars worth of damage during the theft. Detectives are reviewing surveillance cameras, and are asking anyone with information to call the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755. The case is currently under investigation.
