Gift bags stolen from front porch

A Bloomfield Township homeowner reported to police that someone stole gift bags left for her children on her front porch on Monday, June 1. The resident, who lives in the 600 block of Yarmouth Road, called police on Tuesday, June 2, to report the larceny. She informed officers that around 5 p.m. Monday, June 1, a neighbor left two gift bags on her porch for her children. Sometime between 5 and 8 p.m., an unknown individual stole the bags. The bags contained cards, candy and VISA gift cards. Bloomfield Township police are investigating.
