Drunk man with knife arrested in Birmingham

Birmingham police responded to reports of a man carrying a knife around Woodward and Webster on Friday, July 3,

Once at the scene they approached the 38-year-old man from Beverly Hills, who admitted he had a knife under his shirt. Birmingham police took the knife and found out he was heavily intoxicated. The man was sent to Beaumont Hospital for detox.

Birmingham police submitted the case to the Oakland County Prosecutor's office for warrant consideration.
