Speedway thieves are repeat customers

A pair of thieves hit the Birmingham Speedway gas station on Saturday, July 18, Sunday, July 19, and Monday, July 20, each time with the same modus operandi. Employees at the Speedway station, 34750 Woodward Avenue, reported to Birmingham police that on each occasion, one suspect would distract an employee while the other suspect would take cigarettes without paying for them. The suspects are described as a Black male in his 50s to 60s with a thin to medium build and a White woman with shoulder-length brown/red hair who is also in her 50s to 60s. Birmingham police are investigating.
