Square Lake/Easways intersection to close

A culvert removal and replacement project at the intersection of Square Lake Road and Eastways in Bloomfield Township will close the intersection from Monday, August 3 through early September. The Road Commission of Oakland County (RCOC) said the intersection will completely close to traffic for the work. The Square Lake Road detour is Opdyke Road to South Boulevard to Squirrel Road, back to Square Lake Road, and vice versa. The Eastways Road traffic detour is Long Lake Road to Squirrel Road to Square Lake Road and vice versa. RCOC said this section of Square Lake Road carries approximately 8,800 vehicles daily.
