Prescription fraudulently taken from CVS

The store manager of the CVS Pharmacy at Woodward and Square Lake in Bloomfield Township called police after a woman fraudulently picked up a prescription for a man without his permission on Friday, September 25. Officers arrived after the suspect had taken off from the CVS Pharmacy at 42934 Woodward Avenue. When questioned, the victim, a 65-year-old man from Pontiac, said that the woman had picked up his prescription without his permission. The store manager told officers that the suspect knew the name and birthday of the victim and provided photo identification to the pharmacist. The suspect was described as a heavyset black female who wore a white t-shirt that said “I Love LA” across the front. Bloomfield Township police are currently investigating.
