Baldwin House mailboxes tampered with

Employees and residents at the Baldwin House, located at 200 Chester Street in downtown Birmingham, reported to police on the morning of Friday, April 19, that someone had tampered with and broken into the building's mailboxes.

Birmingham police reported that when they arrived, they saw the large frames that contain each residents’ mailboxes were broken and noticed pry marks.

Fortunately, the residents stated that nothing appeared to have been missing.

An investigation is ongoing, Birmingham police report.
