Birmingham B&E suspect arrested in Ferndale

A suspect was arrested by Ferndale police for attempting a breaking and entering shortly after the individual attempted to break into a building at 33877 Woodward Avenue in Birmingham earlier on the same night of Sunday, February 12.


Witnesses told Birmingham police they heard glass break on the south side of the building and an individual dressed in black fleeing from the scene. According to police, the suspect appeared to be unsuccessful in trying to gain entry to the building. Officers canvassed the area for the suspect but had negative results.


Later, the suspect was arrested in Ferndale for a similar incident and admitted to attempting to enter the building in Birmingham.
