Business sign stolen from front of parking lot

A Birmingham business located at the 1000 block of W. Maple Road had an expensive sign stolen from its parking lot on Tuesday, April 9, allegedly by a 76-year-old resident whose identity has not been made public.


Witness told Birmingham police that they saw the man pull into the business’s parking lot and steal the sign. The sign was worth roughly $400, according to the police report.


Police said they are continuing to investigate the incident.
